New Door Ventures is pleased to announce that we are expanding our Ally youth employment program by 50% in 2011, and we are eagerly recruiting youth participants now!
In order to provide more opportunities for youth to learn about the employment opportunities we offer, we’ll host group interviews weekly, on Thursdays at 10:30 AM. Youth who are interested in either the Ally or Switch program do not need to sign up in advance, but must be on time.
New Door is a community based social enterprise organization that owns and operates two businesses, Ashbury Images screen printing company and Pedal Revolution bike shop, and creates partnerships with other businesses and organizations in San Francisco to provide jobs, job training and community support for at-risk youth ages 17-21.
Ally is a cohort model program, with 3 weeks of job readiness training followed by 3 months of paid employment in one of New Door’s community partner sites. Please contact Ciara Wade with any questions at cwade@newdoor.org
