Apply for YAA

The Advisory is a space for gathering information, providing trainings and resources and impacting policy and budgetary recommendations for the disconnected, transitional age youth population in San Francisco.The group meets monthly and stipends $50/meeting. Based on your availability, there are opportunities for more involvement in specific policy and youth outreach projects within TAYSF.

In order to apply, you must:

  • BE between the ages of 18 and 25.
  • BE ABLE TO COMMIT to a 2-hour meeting once a month.
  • BE A YOUTH WORKER: Work closely with systems such as Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, Young Parents, Young Adults with Disabilities, Alternative Education and Immigrant Young Adults.
  • BE a current or former (recent) San Francisco resident.
  • Have experience in your community and committed to building a better city for San Francisco’s most vulnerable transitioning aged youth population.
