Born and raised in San Francisco and East Oakland, Jose-Luis Mejia has been devoted to serving youth for the past 5 years. Jose-Luis has served as a mentor, a life-skills and media instructor, a youth advisory board member. Jose-Luis is currently Lead Program Facilitator and Producer for the Conscious Youth Media Crew, a student at San Francisco’s State College of Extended Learning, and a proud father.
