Staff
- Sara Razavi (2005-2010) Sara joined HEY in 2005 and served as the Executive Director from November 2006-October 2010. Sara spearheaded many of HEY’s internal and community capacity building projects. Read More.
- Dana Mandolesi (2007-2010) Dana served as HEY’s Project Manager from October2007 – July2010. While at HEY Dana managed all foster care and community research, and acted as the ‘info-hub’ for anyone needing data, statistics or information about HEY’s focus areas.

- Leslie Brown (2009-2010) Leslie served as HEY’s Program Coordinator from January 2009 – July 2010. At HEY, Leslie provided training and curriculum development for the employment and education work groups and supports the Emancipated Youth Advocacy Board (EYAB). Read More.
- Katy Chamberlain Hope (2003-2005) Katy was HEY’s first full-time staff person beginning in 2003. After two years as HEY’s Program Associate and helping to establish such legacy programs as HEY’s Emancipated Youth Advocacy Board and HEY’s involvement in Guardian Scholar Programs advocacy, Katy went on to pursue her MBA from Harvard Business School. - Michele Byrnes (2003-2006) Michele served as HEY’s first full-time Executive Director. Through her leadership HEY was able to establish itself as an advocacy organization with such advocacy projects as the adoption of THP-Plus in California. Following the legislative success of her work while at HEY, in 2006 Michele joined the John Burton Foundation to focus specifically on THP-Plus implementation.
