 2007 Voices of Youth: Success Through Empowerment
On Saturday, May 12th 2007, HEY and our partners honored current and former foster youth and their families at the 4th Annual San Francisco Foster Care Month Celebration: “Voices of Youth 2007: Success through Empowerment.” This free carnival and resource far has become an annual keystone in the Bay Area National Foster Care Month celebrations. We highlighted the stories of foster youth who have achieved successes in the fields of: Education, Housing, Employment, and Health and had great performances from community members.
