Teachers and parents are fed up with school cuts. Many Bay Area public schools are reeling from more than $17 billion in state education cuts over the past two years. Now the governor is estimating California could face a new deficit as high as $14 billion come July 1. This town hall meeting is your chance to talk about how students are still trying to cope with soaring class sizes, teacher layoffs, school closures and the elimination of art, music and vocational courses at local K-12 and community college campuses. Stop the cuts! Make your voices heard!
